ODD YEARS:

Nominees must be current NBA card holders in good standing with the USBC and be currently bowling in an approved SCNBA Nikkei league. A working knowledge of USBC rules is helpful and the applicant must be available to attend meetings on the weekends and possibly on weeknights.

We also need Directors representing their Nikkei leagues (NO RESUME NECESSARY, JUST PLEASE COME TO THE NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING!) Communication is the key and we need every league represented. Directors will attend all meetings, deliver any pertaining information back to their league, and will help promote the services and purpose of the SCNBA. See duties attached on next page.

Directors
To be the voice and representative of the SCNBA to the Nikkei league.  To deliver any information that pertains to business directly affecting Nikkei leagues.  It is also the Director’s responsibility to help promote the services and purpose of the SCNBA.


Officer Position Descriptions

President
The President shall preside at all meetings; appoint committees and be responsible for enforcing the organization’s purposes and objectives; verify bank statements monthly; arrange for an annual audit of the organization’s finances; organize tournaments and event and perform such other duties as specified by the USBC rules and regulations.

Vice President
The vice president shall, in the absence of the president, perform the duties of that office when required.

Secretary/Treasurer
The Secretary/Treasurer shall: record the votes and keep the minutes of the meetings and proceedings of the Board and its members; serve notice of meetings to the Board and of its members; keep appropriate records showing the recognized league represen­tatives, together with their addresses; keep for permanent record, an account of proceedings of all meetings; make bank deposits and write checks as needed for tournaments and expenses; keep a true record of all receipts and expenses of any transaction of the Association; prepare at each meeting and when requested, a financial statement for the organization; and perform such other duties as may be required by the Board.

Sergeant-at-Arms
The Sergeant-at-Arms shall see that the meetings are conducted in an orderly manner, and shall perform other duties required by the Board.


All Officers and Directors are asked to work tournaments and events and when possible provide a substitute worker for that specific day if they cannot attend.
